Maison Proust, Hotel & Spa La Mer, Paris

Maison Proust offers a spa and wellness centre with a private indoor swimming pool, hammam, and sauna that guests reserve for one-hour solo sessions. The Salon d'Eau, a Moroccan-inspired spa area, includes a steam room and is available for private use by booking in advance. Spa/wellness packages include back, foot, full body, hand, head, and neck massages, with personalized treatments tailored to each guest.

The romantic restaurant serves French cuisine with vegetarian, gluten-free, and dairy-free options for brunch, lunch, dinner, high tea, and cocktails. On Friday evenings, the bar is tended by Colin Field, recognized by Forbes and Travel + Leisure as one of the world's best bartenders. Guests can enjoy champagne by the glass at the pool bar, a snack bar, wine/champagne, and breakfast in bed from the room service menu.

The 33 rooms and suites feature artistic decor from the Belle Époque, with original oil paintings, leather-bound books from the 18th-20th centuries, and Proust's personal books available in the library. The Marcel Proust executive suite includes a large bookcase with high-quality literary works and a rooftop view of Paris. Deluxe rooms like the Claude Monet and Renoir Room offer soundproofed spaces with minibars, desks, and quiet surroundings.

The Louvre Museum, Musée National Picasso-Paris, and Notre Dame Cathedral are within walking distance, and the hotel offers organized tours for engagement with local culture. Place des Vosges, Pompidou Centre, and Opéra Bastille are nearby, with Paris Orly Airport 18 km away.
